"21st Century Leadership Skills and the Role of CTE Leadership"

Bob Regan is the Director of Worldwide Primary and Secondary Education at Adobe Systems in San Jose, California. In that role, Bob leads the programs and strategies for making Adobe products available to schools worldwide. These activities include product development, sales and marketing programs and thought leadership.

A former classroom teacher and school technology coordinator, Bob has a Masters in Elementary Education from Columbia University Teachers College. Bob joined Macromedia as the product manager for accessibility to launch Macromedia’s accessibility effort. Bob’s continues to focus his time and attention on improving teaching and learning through the use of technology in schools. He is active in several organizations including the National Council on Technology and Innovation, the Partnership for 21st Century Skills and the Adobe Education Leaders Program.

Kathleen P. King, EdD, is professor of adult education and HRD at Fordham University’s Graduate School of Education in NYC and former director of the university’s RETC Center for Professional Development. King’s major areas of research include professional development, transformative learning, career and technical education, leadership, diversity issues, distance learning, and new media. She is an award winning author (16 books), popular keynote and conference speaker, editor, mentor, and consultant. She has been widely recognized for her research, service, and contribution to the fields of technology innovations in learning and adult learning. Yvette Rubio

“How to Communicate as a Leader in a New Global, Technological Environment"

Yvette Rubio is an organizational development consultant and online instructor for eCornell and Ithaca College, where she teaches over 40 courses. Her areas of expertise include adult learning; organizational communication; strategic and scenario planning; and leadership development. Her career has had some fun twists and turns, starting with her PhD studies in German Literature at the Free University of Berlin and Cornell; then on to founding a Modern Dance program at a prep school in Rhode Island; followed by an 11-year stint in the hotel industry in a range of roles including marketing, operations, and human resources. A native of New Orleans who, in her adult life, has never lived more than 5 years in any one place, she has now beaten those odds, having lived in Ithaca, NY for 8 years, with her partner and cat.
